SaaS start-up gets lower costs, efficiency, scalability, and peace of mind with a StrataScale cloud solution.

The Challenge

With a Justuno button users publish coupon codes directly on their E commerce websites to reduce cart abandonment, increase sale convergence, acquire new customers, and improve customers' shopping experiences.

Justuno.com was brought online by SaaS start-up veterans CTO Travis Logan and  CFO Erik Christiansen.  This duo was part of the founding team at SierraSnowboard.com (now Trusnow.com), where they developed custom shopping cart and community software which supported a $1 million and 3,500 packages sold peak sales day.

Justuno.com CTO Logan needed to cost effectively bring Justuno.com online, ensuring time efficiency and ultimate agility and scalability to respond to changing business conditions.

 

Solution

Logan and Christiansen chose StrataScale cloud infrastructure to keep costs low and reduce the amount of time he would otherwise spend racking, stacking, and cabling his environment.  For less than $500 per month, they leverage StrataScale’s multimillion dollar N+2 redundant infrastructure and its SAS70 certified world-class data center.

The environment on which Justuno.com is hosted includes:

• One Level 1 VM Bundle Public Cloud solution - featuring 2 CPU, 4GB RAM, 100GB storage, and 2TB bandwidth, and running IIS 7.5 and MS SQL server 2008
• Two Level 2 VM Bundle Public Cloud solutions - each featuring 4 CPU, 8GB RAM, 300GB storage, and 2TB bandwidth, and running IIS 7.5 and MS SQL server 2008

The StrataScale solution features a web-accessed secure portal to view and manage - with full anywhere, anytime control - the Justuno.ccom cloud hosting environment via an advanced UI.  What Travis gets is the ability to knock out things like adding disk, making changes, adding VMs, and changing firewall rules on-demand in minutes.
