In order to enhance the computing abilities of Hydrogen@Home and DrugDiscovery@Home, a volunteer team has developed graphics processing unit (GPU) support for BOINC. When combined, scientists can test models over a connected system that is ten times more powerful than the fastest super computer in the world.
