ISVs in Microsoft’ s Software + Services Incubation Center Program Leverage Efficiencies of IronScale’ s Unique Physical Environment

Sacramento, CA — July 10, 2009 — StrataScale, Inc., the only managed hosting company that provides an Instant Physical InfrastructureTM with cloud capabilities, today announced it has joined the Microsoft Software + Services Incubation Center Program. StrataScale’s IronScale product is a fully automated managed hosting service that enables Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) and other customers to build, manage, and scale entire physical server environments in minutes from a secure Web portal. ISVs wanting to adopt a software-as-service (SaaS) delivery model receive business and technical guidance, consulting services, and access to an established hosting channel through the Microsoft Software + Services Incubation Center Program.

As a fully automated managed hosting service, IronScale delivers the efficiency and agility of virtualization within the secure framework of a non-shared bare metal server that enables ISVs and SaaS providers to quickly create the ideal development environment for their applications. As the only solution to provide snapshot capabilities on physical servers, IronScale can instantly capture and restore a server’s boot volume to a given point in time. Providers can also create custom gold images to clone entire physical servers, as well as utilize auto-failover to eliminate server downtime. SaaS vendors in the Microsoft Software + Services Incubation Center Program can then repurpose servers or reload operating systems and applications to quickly return to initial builds. When ready for production, IronScale seamlessly promotes images or entire servers from development to test to production in real-time.
